2016 couldn’t end fast enough with all the bad news in politics, celebrity deaths, and just world events in general. As 2017 is shaping up to be another year filled with comic book films like, Logan, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, and Justice League (breath that all in), it’s a good idea to be reminded of the comic book films released this year. It’s with great sadness (not from just this writer but from so many others) that Carrie Fisher has passed away. Fisher, who was worldly know has Princess Leia Organa, had suffered from cardiac arrest while inflight from London to Los Angeles. Legendary singer and ex-Wam member George Michael has passed a way at the age of 53. We are still getting information as the day goes on but reports have said that he died peacefully. Michaels was not only a huge star in his native land of England but beloved all over the world. A musical (remember those?) has been released at the tail end of the year and has dazzled its audience. Alright anime fans, the live action Fullmetal Alchemist trailer has finally dropped and it’s just the right amount of taste to wet your whistle. The trailer for the adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s manga gives us a glimpse of the world of the series.
