There’s no shortage of excitement for the upcoming film Halloween Kills, and now actress Kyle Richards is adding to the hype. According to the actress, who also starred in the original 1978 Halloween film, the upcoming sequel should likely meet everyone’s expectations and then some. With that said, it appears that the actress hasn’t yet seen the full cut of the film. But she has heard some very good things.
As stated in an Instagram video from TMI Buzz, where Kyle Richards was asked about the project:
“It’s one of the best of all time, that’s what I’m hearing.”
She also stated that it was both “amazing” and “very exciting” to be involved with the project. This should definitely help make any fan that was previously hesitant about the upcoming horror sequel even more excited. Of course, Jamie Lee Curtis and John Carpenter have also both praised the film – so it likely isn’t any surprise that Kyle Richards shares their sentiments. It’s just nice knowing that Kyle Richards, who was also once involved with the original Halloween film from 1978, is able to be so excited to return to the franchise via Halloween Kills.
Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too much longer to know for ourselves. The film is finally going to be released later this year after a delay pushed the film away from its original 2020 release date.
Halloween Kills was directed by David Gordon Green who also helmed the 2018 film. He wrote the script alongside Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
The film features a cast that includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Charles Cyphers, Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, Nancy Stephens, Jibrail Nantambu, and Robert Longstreet. James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle both return as Michael Myers.
Audiences will finally be able to see the upcoming sequel Halloween Kills on October 15, 2021.
