There’s been quite a bit of fallout in the entertainment industry after actress Evan Rachel Wood called out Marilyn Manson with a variety of abuse allegations. She’s claimed that he subjected her to both physical and emotional abuse, and that it lasted throughout their relationship – which began when she was a teenager and he was nearly 40 years old. So, as stated, the fallout has been massive.
In fact, Marilyn Manson has already been dropped by his own record label as a result. What’s more, he was fired from appearing in the third season of American Gods. And, on top of that, he also recently finished acting in an episode of Creepshow – which will now be scrapped entirely. Now others are making similar allegations against Marilyn Manson, born Brian Warner, and he’s decided to speak up. In fact, he’s stating the allegations are “distortions of reality.”

Here’s what Marilyn Manson had to say in full regarding the abuse allegations, via Instagram:
“Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality,” Manson wrote. “My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”
