When the second Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer hit the internet a few months ago, we got our first look at the big screen incarnation of Doomsday. Today, we got a confirmation of at least one person helping bring the infamous villain to life.
Today, Robin Atkin Downes, voice actor and motion capturee tweeted out that he “helped bring Doomsday to life”.
Very proud to release that I helped bring #Doomsday to life in the upcoming @BatmanvSuperman #Dreamgigs

To what extent Downes is contributing towards Doomsday remains to be seen. Downes is primarily known as a voice actor, working mostly in the world of video games. A quick glance at his IMDB page shows that he’s lent his voice to more than 300 video games and films/TV, including last year’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and The Strain. In addition to BvS: DOJ, later this year Atkin’s voice will be heard in Uncharted 4, as well as James Wan’s The Conjuring 2.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens one March 25th.
