The 2020 presidential election is almost here – and people are really ramping up their support for their favorite candidate. In what looks to be a close election, we will see the current President of the United States, Donald Trump, go against former Vice President Joe Biden. Now, it should come as no surprise that most of Hollywood seems to support Biden – as they did in 2016 – and it should come as no surprise that a majority of them plan on doing so in 2020. If you’re a fan of the MCU, you may remember that various cast members from those movies got together before the 2016 election and made a video urging people to vote for Hillary Clinton. The video was widely panned, but that hasn’t stopped them from getting together to do another similar video for Biden – this time, though, it’s an actual fundraiser – and it’s Avengers themed.
The event, Voters Assemble!, will feature Marvel cast members such as Don Cheadle, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana. They’ll join vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris – and MCU directors The Russo Brothers for a Q & A and trivia. It’s set to take place later today – 6:45 PM EST to be exact, with fans being able to donate any amount of money they wish to the Joe Biden Victory Fund.
Folks, the Avengers are coming back together for their biggest battle yet. Join them and @KamalaHarris tomorrow night for a grassroots fundraiser you won’t want to miss: https://t.co/D4fn4nxv9i pic.twitter.com/3sGQRBW7yu

This really shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as plenty of Marvel stars have voiced their political opinions in the past. Mark Ruffalo has been one of the most vocal celebrities when it comes to politics.
