This is of course a huge opportunity for the young upstart actress, as she not only will appear in the Disney+ series, but also future MCU films. She brings even more diversity to the MCU, representing Middle Eastern people with this character. Ms. Marvel is a Pakistani-American InHuman teen who has seen a lot of publicity lately, with huge pushes in the comics, as well as the new Marvel’s Avengers video game. Now, she looks to be a major part of the future of the MCU.
Iman Vellani will be getting her first big Hollywood role, and shows Marvel’s confidence in their casting, especially with the recent string of huge A-List stars that have come into the fold. By casting this fresh face, Marvel is looking art the long game, hoping to build her up for many years to come. This, along with the other recent casting news for this series, should have fans excited for what is to come. Marvel is stepping up their game, trying to exceed the bar they set in the first place with the Infinity Saga. By the looks of things, they’re right on track to do just that.
