Tom Holland has quickly become one of the most beloved Spider-Man actors after his time as the character over the last few years. One of those reasons, aside from his clever performance in front of the camera, has been his fun personality off camera as well. And now fans can get an even deeper look at the mischievous shenanigans Tom Holland has been up to – mainly a variety of Spider-Man related props from the productions of both Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Tom Holland revealed some of the Spider-Man props he’s stolen over the years while speaking on BBC Radio 1. He especially stated his home is “littered with props from films” that he’s taken “on every job” he’s worked on.
Here’s what he stated:
“Honestly, I’ve got a set of web-shooters from the Spider-Man suit, which Marvel don’t know about, but they do now,” Holland said. “These are big ones. I’ve got Tony Stark’s glasses. I tried to take a suit once, but it’s a little bit difficult to walk out of the set in a Spider-Man suit.”
Of course, one must ask if the actor could be put in trouble by stealing the Spider-Man related props. Here’s what Holland had to say when that topic came up and he was asked if he could get in trouble:
“I haven’t so far, and they always make loads of them, because they break all the time,” Holland explained. “I’m like, ‘Oh, I lost the Tony Stark glasses!’ They’re like, ‘You what?!’ And now they’re on my mantle piece.”
It’s a hilarious story and one that proves how fun Tom Holland can be even when he’s not simply playing Peter Parker. Perhaps we’ll hear even more stories whenever Spider-Man 3 gets rolling in front of the cameras – and no doubt Tom Holland will get plenty more props when that happens.
