One of the more interesting developments in the expansive Masters of the Universe franchise is that filmmaker Kevin Smith was developing an all new anime series based on the popular original television series. The new anime is intended to be an animated series on Netflix which will act as a continuation of the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe show. The upcoming sequel series received the fitting title Masters of the Universe: Revelation, and now the official cast for Masters of the Universe: Revelation has been released.
As you can see with the full list of new cast members down below, as taken from Newsarama, they’ve grouped together an exciting roster of actors and actresses to bring the characters of Eternia to life once more. What’s impressive is the amount of talent they’ve acquired to bring these sometimes campy characters to life – for example iconic actor Mark Hamill will be involved as the new voice of Skeletor. If that’s not exciting in itself, just wait until you see the complete cast list of those attached to Masters of the Universe: Revelation.

“We went in with this mantra of, like, nobody is winking and nobody’s acting like this is weirdness,” Smith told Newsarama. “Man-At-Arms, Stinkor, it’s all played incredibly Game of Thrones-straight.” He describes the series as “a sequel series to the classic era that everybody knows, almost as if this was the next episode in the [original] Filmation series.”
Smith added, “If you like the style of [Netflix’s] Castlevania, just put He-Man through that filter, and it has that feel and look to it. It’s anime style.”
Masters of the Universe: Revelation is slated to hit Netflix sometime this year.
