We, of course, reported on the rumor that there may be a Punisher Netflix series coming in the near future Now, Netflix itself is responding to that rumor.
Ted Sarandos, the CCO of Netflix, discussed the rumor, saying that Punisher could very well get a Netflix series– and so could anyone else. “All the characters in the universe could also spin out,” he said.
This certainly isn’t a confirmation or denial of anything, which nobody was expecting, but it at least wasn’t an outright blasting of the rumor. More, it was saying that there may be many more Netflix series based on Marvel characters, and some of them could be very unexpected. Are we due for a full-fledged Stilt-Man series?
