Could HBO’s latest venture be experiencing problems, it sure sounds like it based on the latest reports about the upcoming television show, Westworld.

The problems were initially reported by Variety, but HBO has since released an official statement about the show:

As we head into the final phase of production on Westworld, we’ve made the decision to take a brief hiatus in order to get ahead of the writing.

It has previously been reported that HBO were experiencing difficulties with the show, an adaption of the 1973 film of the film of the same name, but Variety still reports that the network is aiming for a 2016 release.
