The new Joker movie has been a massive success at the box office. It’s not only become the biggest R-rated movie release financially, but helped redefine the Joker in an entirely new cinematic way. As such, one of the iconic landmarks from the film – the Bronx stairs – have become a major location for fans of the movie to visit. But because of the area, it hasn’t exactly been a recommended place to visit. And now one new video gives an example why – you just might get eggs thrown at your head. Check it out down below.
The video posted shows a Bronx resident throwing eggs at peoples’ heads from atop the stairs. The caption reads: “Lmao Keep Thinking Them was 167 Steps Is A Landmark For Tourist”.
As you can hear in the video, the resident states, “They think it’s ‘Joker,’ this what jokers do,” as he begins throwing eggs.
He also states that, “Y’all not spendin’ no money in my store but come and take pictures. Get the f— out of here!”
It’s certainly a surprising example of just why fans should be cautious of traveling to the area. While this may just be considered a bit of harmless pranking, there isn’t any telling if a worse scenario could occur for some unsuspecting tourist.

As for the Joker, it’s worth noting that Warner Bros. apparently still has interest in reviving Jared Leto’s version alongside Harley Quinn. As we’ve previously reported.
The new Joker movie is currently still playing in theaters everywhere.
