We all know how Uncle Ben died, right? So, it’s a little shocking that Spider-Man would decide to rob a bank.
Okay, that was dumb. But – a guy dressed as Spider-Man really did rob a bank on Tuesday. It happened around 12:30 PM at the Traditions Bank in Cornelia, Georgia and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported and here are more details from the report:
The suspect is described as 5-foot-7 to 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing dark pants and a camouflage hoodie. He was driving a dark, four-door hatchback similar to a Nissan Versa or Chevrolet Spark, the GBI said.
Cornelia police and the GBI are investigating, and authorities are working with Gwinnett police to compare the Cornelia robbery with a Gwinnett heist on Nov. 16.
Anyone with information can call the Cornelia Police Department at 706-778-4314 or 706-778-3911. Tips can be reported to the GBI at 1-800-597-8477.
