We are less than 2 weeks away from Spider-Man: Far From Home hitting theaters, and critics are already abuzz about the film. Fans are beyond excited to see the epilogue of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 3 and the prologue for Phase 4. People are also curious to see what is to come in Peter’s life, between his friends, relationships, and new partnerships. The dynamic of Mysterio is truly fascinating, but raises even more questions. However, one thing we weren’t 100% on was whether Marvel would go back to their traditional post credits scenes after Avengers: Endgame didn’t have a post-credits scene.
Now, it looks like we have a definitive answer.
ComicBook.com is confirming that there will indeed be two post credits scenes for Far From Home. This falls right back into typical MCU form. The first one, mid-credits, will be the one that either pushes the next Spidey flick, or sets up more of the future of the MCU. The second scene, after all the credits have rolled, will more than likely be a funnier, tongue-in-cheek style scene. Think about the Cap post credits scene in Homecoming or the drumming ant at the end of Ant-Man and The Wasp.
This isn’t really shocking news, but it is nice to get a confirmation so that we don’t sit in the theater for nothing. Plus, it gives fans more opportunity to speculate just what is to come, like the most recent rumors for the post credits scene. But, whatever happens, it is sure to ignite fans for the future.
