Spider-Man: Far From Home is set to be released at the beginning of July and the promotion push has been heavy for a good month. A synopsis has been released for fans of the web-slinger with a lot of great posters and theories to boot. Now, director Jon Watts has made it official and the film is complete. The director decided to give this announcement on his Instagram page and fans are excited as the cast is in the photo.
Watts’s Instagram page has been quiet for some time and rightfully so. The director was very busy putting the sequel to the box office, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Homecoming grabbed a huge chunk of change in the tune $117 million opening weekend in 2017, with the summer movie gross of $880,166,924 worldwide from the combined domestic and foreign markets. Spider-Man: Far From Home is expected to make much more than that coming off of Avengers: Endgame. The film could open between $90 million and $120 million over 3 days which we over here at ScreenGeek don’t doubt it’ll make.
Fans are excited about the movie—mainly because of the wall-crawler—but also since this will cap off Marvel’s Phase 3 and might give us an idea of what’s to come of Phase 4.
For anybody that needs a reminder, here’s the synopsis of Spider-Man: Far From Home:
Shortly after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker, who is mourning the death of his mentor Tony Stark, goes on a school trip to Europe with his classmates. While abroad, he is recruited by Nick Fury to team up with Quentin Beck, also known as Mysterio, a master of trickery and illusion to battle the Elementals.
