Avengers: Endgame will be here in less than a month, and many fans are looking to buy tickets as soon as they’re available – which is rumored to be next week. With that being said, one reason many fans, including myself, want to see the movie as early as possible, is that there are people out there who like to ruin the movie for others by spoiling it. And no, I don’t mean people that do it accidentally, I’m talking about the type of people that do it for fun.
The Russo Brothers are aware of this, and are encouraging people to see it opening weekend – to avoid spoilers:
“Yeah, we do feel that way. At a certain point, I’m sure we’ll write another letter this year that asks everyone to stay off the internet. I think this one has even more spoilers than the last one. This is a culture that wants everything now, and it’s getting worse. The world is connected via social media, and information travels within seconds. If you’ve been following along with this narrative for 10 years, you’re going to want to protect yourself. It’s best to go in clean. I encourage people to go opening weekend because I’m sure everything is going to hit the internet the moment the movie hits the screen.”
As they said, they sent out a letter last year about Avengers: Infinity War. So, if you don’t plan on seeing the movie the first week it’s out but plan to stay on the internet – tread lightly – or you risk having the movie ruined for you. We even put out an article on how to avoid spoilers for Infinity War, and we’ll probably do the same for Endgame.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th.
