IT: Chapter 2 won’t be with us until September, and we’re yet to get a trailer for the film. That doesn’t mean, however, that buzz for the upcoming horror sequel isn’t high. After the great reviews the first movie received, fans are pretty excited, and comments from one of the film’s stars are going to make them even more excited.
When talking about the movie recently on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Jessica Chastain happened to talk about the amount of blood featured in one scene:
“I’m gonna say something and I think I’m gonna be in trouble but I’m gonna do it. It might be a spoiler, but in the movie there’s a scene that someone said on set that it’s the most blood that’s ever been in a horror film in a scene.”
She added:
“The next day I was pulling [fake] blood out of my eyeballs.”

I think it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing Bill Skarsgård‘s Pennywise the Clown eating more children – or something like that.
Expect a trailer for the film sometime soon, as the first trailer for 2017’s IT movie was released on March 29th of that year. If we’re going based on that, we should probably expect a similar type of marketing campaign. Here’s hoping the movie delivers for horror fans and fans of the Stephen King novel.
The Andy Muschietti directed film’s synopsis reads:
Because every 27 years evil revisits the town of Derry, Maine, IT: Chapter Two brings the characters—who’ve long since gone their separate ways—back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film.
IT: Chapter 2 hits theaters everywhere on September 6th.
