All the secrecy surrounding the still yet to be titled Avengers 4 has fans transitioning from excited, to desperate, to downright angry. With all the recent rumors to come out about a possible trailer release, only for those “insiders” to be dead wrong, fans have reached a boiling point. And, even with the latest news, from actual reliable sources, that say we will get a trailer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 3 finale this week, fans have taken to YouTube to show their disapproval by giving a bunch of Marvel’s videos a whole lot of “thumbs down”.
So people are now disliking all of Marvel’s videos in demand of the Avengers 4 trailer… from r/marvelstudios
This desperation move is fruitless, really. These YouTube accounts have nothing to do with Marvel Studios itself, and even if it did, this childish mass temper tantrum won’t get anyone what they want. Marvel isn’t going to buckle under the “pressure” of a bunch of fans holding their breath until they get what they want. First off, this “mass protest” is barely a measurable percentage of the fan base that actually goes and sees the films, so this move is pointless. Second, Marvel knows that these fans will still go and see the movie when it comes out in May, 2019.
So, why even acknowledge the existence of this protest if you’re Marvel? Simple, you don’t. Hell, it’s bad enough that we’re acknowledging it here on our site.
People, listen up. Don’t go try and “sabotage” Marvel’s videos. It’s stupid, reckless, and, most importantly, useless. This will not “force Marvel’s hand”. More than likely, if anyone at Marvel is even aware of this, they’re laughing about it in the office. Stop, relax, and look for the Avengers 4 trailer next Wednesday.
