This October we will meet Michael Myers once more. This installment of the Halloween franchise acts as a direct sequel to the first from 1978, set 40 years later. Blumhouse will be showing some footage from the movie at San Diego Comic-Con next Friday, but for now we have a brand new image of Michel Myers. Entertainment Weekly shared the image of the masked killer, where we can see Michael Myers in his familiar boiler suit. You can see the image below:

Jamie Lee Curtis has reprised her role as the iconic final girl, Laurie Strode. The actress has this to say about the new movie:
“What I loved is that it surgically excises all of that dead tissue, this is growing from just that original movie, 40 years later. There may be people who love the other movies, great — [they have] zero relevance to this story.”
Although it doesn’t completely ignore previous sequels. Director David Gordon Green had this to say:
“This film isn’t one to narratively recognize any of the films other than the original Halloween, but we very much enjoy the other films and there’s a lot of very subtle shout-outs to a number of things that I think the big fans — the people that know the films scientifically — will get a kick out of, hopefully.”
The script was written by Danny McBride and Jeff Fradley. This film co-stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton and Toby Huss.
In Halloween, Michael Myers is about to be transferred from a psychiatric institution to a maximum security prison and, the director says, “sh*t hits the fan.” Laurie Strode will have her final confrontation with the masked killer, and it will certainly be interesting to see what happens.
Halloween will be released on October 19.
