Avengers 4 will be here soon enough, as will Captain Marvel. Saying “soon enough”, however, isn’t enough for MCU fans, as we seemingly always want things NOW. It doesn’t really matter what we want, or when we want it, though – as Marvel Studios already knows that we will be sitting in the theater when both films are released. With that, it’s important to note that we do have a thing called concept trailers.
I recently came across a pretty interesting one created by Tommy Ross, in which he uses the heavily theorized and rumored title, Avengers: Endgame. Overall, it’s a pretty good fan-made trailer.

As far as when the real trailers for both films are going to be here, we’re not exactly sure. When it comes to Captain Marvel, Kevin Feige recently said that it’s a few months away. When it comes to Avengers 4, The Russo Brothers said back in May that they’d have it ready in a couple of months:
“No idea. We haven’t cut any of the film together yet. We’ll have to see. We’ll get it set for the next two or three months.”
They also said they hadn’t even finished the film yet:
“…right now, we have not edited that movie at all. So we haven’t even gone through that whole phase of finding that film. Not only that, we haven’t even completely finished shooting it. We still have to shoot some stuff to complete the movie and even though we’ve shot the vast majority of it.”
With both movies not due out until early next year, it’s anyone’s guess as to when we will see the first footage from either film. We’re guessing it’ll probably be at the D23 Expo in August. That footage might not be immediately available for the public, however, as Disney has done that in the past.
Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8th, 2019, while the currently untitled Avengers 4 will be here almost two months later on May 3rd, 2019.
What did you think of the concept trailer for Avengers 4? Does it make you more excited for the film? Be sure to tell us all of your thoughts on both movies in the comments!
