Some new footage has been released by Marvel Studios from the upcoming and very anticipated Avengers: Infinity War. The latest round of TV spots have been lighter in tone from the full-length trailers and the comedic relief seen in the 2 new clips that came out over the weekend mostly comes from the Guardians of the Galaxy. In one scene, teenage Groot gives Peter Quill attitude as Drax the Destroyer and company are stunned by what he says.
Most of the footage for Infinity War that debuted over the weekend comes from previous trailers that we’ve seen, but with a new clip shown at the end. The latest TV spot shows the Milano looking like it’s going to see a lot of action, which makes Peter Quill ask teenage Groot to put away his electronic device. A moody Groot doesn’t do what he is asked and responds with, “I am Groot,” which is comes across to the crew as some horrendously foul language and they are shocked.

The TV spot that came before this one showed Thor floating through space then crashing into the Milano, which led to a funny situation where Drax the Destroyer admires Thor’s manly physique and accidentally roasts Peter Quill. The Russo Brothers have done well getting to the core of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel fans are excited to see how the film will play out as they interact with the rest of the Avengers when Infinity War makes it to theaters soon. We’ve already seen Peter Quill annoy Tony Stark, and Gamora explain who Thanos is, meaning we will see a balance between the humor and somber when the Guardians are on the screen.
Some fans may be a little worried that Marvel has released so much in such a short amount of time. No one wants to see spoilers. Some fans can’t get enough, which makes it obvious that the studio can’t please everybody. However, they still do a tremendous job in that department as most fans would agree.
