It was revealed last year that filmmaker Tom Holland had started work on a Fright Night 3 in the form of a novel. And while there still hasn’t been any news on the book’s release, Holland has spoken up about a listing for the novel on Amazon. According to him, it’s not legitimate.
“The Amazon page offering Fright Night 3 the novel is a complete farce,” Holland tweeted. “I’ve been getting many messages lately because according to the page the release is coming up. Sorry all but that page is NOT me. I’m still writing the book and loving every minute.”
Wanted to remind people. The Amazon page offering Fright Night 3 the novel is a complete farce. I’ve been getting many messages lately because according to the page the release is coming up. Sorry all but that page is NOT me. I’m still writing the book and loving every minute

The Amazon listing has had the book marked for a February 20, 2018 release date for quite some time. It’s actually a bit shocking that Holland would wait until now to comment on such an error. Regardless, however, he has made an effort to get it removed by whoever placed it.
“I contacted the Publisher listed. They say the page was not set up by them either. Amazon wouldn’t give me any details about the origins of the page.”
It certainly seems like a strange scenario, and it’s unfortunate we have to wait even longer for the return of Tom Holland’s original Fright Night vision. But in the meantime we do know that Charley and Amy are to come back, and hopefully they’ll bring a few familiar vampires with them.
