Earlier today, it was revealed that we’d finally be getting the Avengers: Infinity War trailer tomorrow. Now, it appears that we’ve been given a new Avengers: Infinity War poster – courtesy of Spider-Man star Tom Holland “accidentally” revealing it in a new video:
Here’s a better look at it:
Here’s hoping that the trailer (and the film itself) is everything that we’re hoping it’ll be. With the amazing track record of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s hard to doubt that it won’t be anything less than something amazing. With all of the high profile characters that will be featured in the film, anything less than that would be a letdown.
Infinity War stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the big bad villain Thanos.
The film’s synopsis: As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4th, 2018.
