As shooting for Avengers: Infinity War and it’s sequel is in full swing and predicted to last into fall of this year, the news and rumors will no doubt keep pouring in. This week, Sebastian Stan, Bucky Barnes himself, has given us a small tease of what he may be up to during the 1 billion dollar production of the next climactic Marvel event.
On Instragram last week, Stan posted a photo of himself and two stuntmen, Greg Rementer and James Young. With the caption “#WS” (Winter Solider), it’s easy to guess just what he may be up to.
Stan’s involvement may be a given due to his popularity in the MCU but when we last left Bucky, he was left on ice until Captain America could figure out how to undo his Winter Solider sleeper-cell brainwashing. However, fans should be wary at just what tricks Marvel may be playing! Recently we learned that the production has been working behind the scenes to subvert fan expectations. Michael Rooker (Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy) was spotted on set for Infinity War in order to keep his fate at the end of the film a secret so anything could be possible.
Official synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War follows:
“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4, 2018.
