Just when you thought the Warner Bros. Justice League movie trailer created waves online, Thor: Ragnarok just volleyed another energy-filled preview right back at them.
Nothing can get any better than Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song” appropriately synced to a fascinating piece of art form. Fans were mouthing the lyrics and going air guitarist as the trailer played. The people who had put together the piece should be proud and some fans were cited saying that it fell in line with Guardians of the Galaxy’s Vol. 2’s musical mantra, with similar pastel colors and a space opera feel.
And why not? After all there could be a pattern here when it comes to energized classic rock soundtracks that can get both the blood and hype going. Hopefully the hype can tide us over with only 7 months left to go before Thor: Ragnarok is released Nov. 3.
Celebrity Hype Begins Before Trailer Release
The hype train did start prior to today’s debut. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn was cited saying he’d had already seen the Thor: Ragnarok trailer and said it was “the best ever.”

Fatman on Batman’s Kevin Smith took to Facebook Mentions pretty quickly and since this man can appreciate rockin’ 80s nostalgia, he was ALL in. “You got my money!”, he says as he air guitars to Zeppelin.
Smith talked about back when the Justice League trailer released and how people found it so astounding only to have Marvel volley back another masterpiece of a trailer. Not to mention the previous Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer that awed eyes when it debuted a few days after JL.
Kevin also remarked how it was it was probably very challenging to use that Led Zeppelin song. So it sounds like Marvel Studios pulled some strings.
Smith also mentioned Joss Whedon switching sides to DC to do a Batgirl movie. So there’s an indeed a rivalry back and forth here, but we should be happy for both sides as they are farming out both fantastic comic book movies.
Judge Dredd’s Karl Urban, who will be playing Skurge in the Thor sequel, gave a little Twitter tweet…
Ha !
This looks like a lot of fun . https://t.co/f1eM49eAd2— Karl Urban (@KarlUrban) April 10, 2017

Fan Reactions Are Emphatic!
When you do a search on YouTube’s “Thor: Ragnarok reactions”, you’ll scroll upon thumbnails with highly expressive faces that indicate a total thumbs up to the clip.
YouTuber Tyrone Magnus already outfitted himself with Thor attire with an accessorized Mjolnir. It seems he was so hyped up about the Thor: Ragnarok trailer, he went all out. When Magnus watched it, he about flipped when he saw Hela shatter Thor’s hammer as he cradled his own prop lovingly.
“Who broke Mjolnir?! I wanna know!”
Tyrone wanted to know who she was, so commenters likely informed him. Then the subject of Loki came up and he thinks he’s in on it.

Grace Randolph of Beyond the Trailer said she was about to cry at the trailer’s magnificence.
She even said that it was the best trailer ever before she finished watching it. That does speak volumes when it comes to an initial reaction like that.
“It’s everything I ever wanted!”
Grace mentioned a conversation she had prior regarding Marvel Studios’ ability to take risks and push the envelop to possibly garner success. To utilize that capital for future movie ideas.
Apparently, it’s been working for them. The dreamers and visionaries of Marvel are doing something right.
