Over the summer, Brock Lesnar had a UFC comeback that surprised many – due to the fact that he was still under contract with WWE at the time.
The last time we had saw Lesnar in the octagon was when he was beaten by Alistair Overeem – promptly making him retire.
He beat Mark Hunt in his first fight back (in pretty dominant fashion) but it was then later determined that Lesnar tested positive for steroids.
He hasn’t fought since, and according to MMAFighting.com:
“Brock Lesnar has made no official announcements, but he has notified the UFC of his retirement from MMA, a UFC spokesperson confirmed with MMA Fighting on Tuesday.
Lesnar has also been removed from the USADA drug-testing pool, meaning he is no longer officially on the UFC roster, per USADA spokesperson Ryan Madden. Last week, it was reported that Lesnar’s name had been removed from the UFC’s unofficial online roster.”
Now the wrestler turned UFC fighter turned wrestler can devote all of his time to getting beat up by Bill Goldberg.
