As we get closer to the release of Logan, the more it feels like the swansong for Hugh Jackman and his role as Wolverine. There’s always a chance he could come back for a crossover with Deadpool or X-Force, but it just seems less and less likely the more we see of Logan and X-23.
And in his seventeen years of playing Wolverine, Jackman has touched every iconic part of the character except for one piece – the yellow suit featured in the Marvel comics.
But Logan may just give us that last chance to see Jackman don the classic suit. On Jackman’s Twitter, he recently posted a picture of a Wolverine figure in the classic suit with the caption reading: “THE ORIGINAL.”

Of course it’s likely Jackman is just messing with fans or making an irrelevant post about the original Wolverine design – but there’s always that chance director James Mangold found a way to use it. And that means Logan really would be a special film for the character, even if the yellow suit might not fit with the darker tone of the film.
