This Sunday is one of the biggest events on one of the film fans calendar, new film trailer day, also there’s apparently some sort of sports game aswell. But for those of you who can’t wait till Sunday for your trailer fix, the first one has already made its way online. Read on to check it out.
Ahead of this Sunday’s big debut, the new trailer for this summers Ghost in the Shell has made its way online giving us a new look at Scarlett Johansson in all her cyborg goodness. You can check out the trailer below.
Whilst it doesn’t feature a great deal of new footage it does give us some insight into what type of crazy stuff we can expect in the final film. As it stands, audience seems to be somewhat divided on the film, with many still not forgiving the studio for casting the caucasian Johansson as the typically Asian android who first appeared in the Manga and Anime of the same name.
Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “Ghost in the Shell” follows Major, a one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
Ghost in the Shell is set to hit theatres Friday 31st March. You can catch the trailer this Sunday during SuperBowl 51.
