Whether you love him or hate him, one thing is for sure, Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luther is going nowhere. It’s long been rumoured that the megalomaniac would be reappearing in next years Justice League, but now thanks to an official press release from Warner Brothers, we have confirmation.
The press release which was released earlier this week can be seen below and clearly lists Eisenberg’s name in the cast list.

Action Adventure. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Given how Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice ended with Luther seemingly predicting the upcoming confrontation with Darkseid, it would make sense that he would appear. It makes even more sense to those who saw the Extended Edition which featured Luther coming face to face, or possibly hologram, with Steppenwolf, who is set to be appear in the upcoming Team-Up flick.
Also something which should be noted is the inclusion of Connie Nielson’s Queen Hippolyta. What role she has in the film remains to be seen, but it appears that she will be surviving the events of Wonder Woman at the very least.
We’ll find out what scheme the classic villain has up his sleeve when Justice League hits theaters November 17th, 2017.
