20th Century Fox has just unveiled the newest trailer for A Cure for Wellness, an upcoming 2018 horror film from director Gore Verbinski.
The new trailer seems to explore the film a bit more than the last trailer released, and it looks like there’ll be quite a few surprises for horror fans.
Here’s the official synopsis and trailer:
“An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure. From Gore Verbinski, the visionary director of The Ring, comes the new psychological thriller, A Cure for Wellness.”
The film is director Gore Verbinski’s first foray into the horror genre since he directed The Ring, and it’ll be interesting to see what he does. Especially since many of his projects since then have been large blockbusters such as the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
A Cure for Wellness hits theaters February 17, 2017.
