It’s no secret that with Marvel movies, there areĀ Easter eggs every which way you look. From Agents of Shield referencing Man-Thing to the rumors of Frank Castle being in The Winter Soldier, Marvel has Easter eggs just about every direction you can possibly look.
Recently while re-watching through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I picked up a possible Easter egg in the MCU’s real first film, Edward Norton’s Incredible Hulk. I had just recently re-watched Season Two of Marvel’s Daredevil as well – so it was fresh in the back of my mind. While watching the Hulk fight Abomination, I noticed a car being shoved out of the way that looked familiar.
I then realized that inĀ Season 2 of Daredevil, the Blacksmith’s henchmen were driving the exact same car when they go into the diner to confront Frank Castle. Both the The Incredible Hulk and Daredevil Season 2 were in New York City , so really, it could be the henchmen and could always connect the Punisher to Dr. Banner later on!
Here are the side by side comparisons of the cars from both the Incredible Hulk film and Season 2 of Daredevil:
Pretty interesting stuff, isn’t it?
We’ve seen Daredevil reference this type of stuff before in Season 1:
What do you think of this potential Marvel Cinematic Universe Easter egg? Do you think it’s legitimate or nothing to see here? Be sure to let us know all of your own thoughts and theories in the comment section below!
