There’s really not too much to talk about this little short teaser for the trailer, but at least we’ve got a date for that Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer!
Speaking of this teaser, not much to say, just a clip of Happy Hogan making sure Parker’s wearing the new Spidey suit upgrades, as well as a very short tease of said upgrades action.
People were mad last week when the footage wasn’t revealed, but they obviously can’t stay mad for long now – as the trailer will be released tomorrow.
Check out the new footage below:
Nice to see Jon Favreau back as Happy! Genuinely thought he’d been forgotten about since Iron Man 3.
I’d also like to imagine that Stark keeps forcing these upgrades on Peter, like he really doesn’t want them, but is just too polite to say no.
And yes, continuing the style of the MCU’s Spider-Man to take aspects of the classic design and give a modern twist. The under-arm webs are here, they look pretty swell from the few frames seen, and presumably have a practical use given the deal made of them being an upgrade.
I’ve seen a lot of complaints being thrown around about a ‘flying Spider-Man’, well I don’t know how he’d fly without a power source; more just fall with style. And in any case, I personally think the ability to glide and delay your fall when web-swinging would be quite useful.
All in all, I am excited for a Spider-Man film, genuinely excited, for the first time since 2006. I was 8 back then. Really feeling like a child here.
See y’all tomorrow for the trailer, hopefully it’s a good one!
