Suicide Squad was a complete train wreck. It was a mess that tried its best but ultimately failed with critics and movie audiences alike. However, with a film of this stature that was promoted strongly by both cast and crew, it still seems as if this movie could have some cult appeal.
It’s only after release, that many people began to realize how troubled the production truly was, from a rumors suggesting that there were 6 separate cuts of the movie to Warner Bros. desperately trying to change the tone of the film after the critical spanking that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice received.
Well now, courtesy of Batman-News, we’ve got yet another look at more concept art which depicts alternate costumes for Task Force X. With Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Katana, Enchantress and many more, all getting various mock ups, it’s interesting to see what designs the crew came up with.

Ultimately the costumes turned out for the best and although there was much controversy over the Joker’s new look, I feel that this was a welcome change from what we’ve seen on screen before. Unfortunately however the movie was tonally bipolar and the CGI was far from acceptable.
On the brighter side, there were quite a few positives to take away from Suicide Squad such as Margot Robbie’s performance as Harley which was universally praised and Will Smith’s portrayal of Deadshot also being another highlight. One can’t shake the feeling however that many of the cast and crew may feel a little silly for getting ‘Squad’ tattoos during production.
