Last week, it was widely reported about how an episode of The Simpsons had correctly predicted that some point in the future, Donald Trump would become President of The United States of America.
For those of you who missed the story, you can check it out here.
The prediction hasn’t gone unnoticed by the folks behind the show, with their latest episode making a reference to it.
This past Sunday’s episode, Havana Wild Weekend featured quite a few references to the recent election, with Bart Simpson’s trademark chalkboard opening seeing the character writing ‘Being Right Sucks‘ over and over. You can check out the clip below:

The prediction came about sixteen years ago in the episode Bart To The Future. The episode saw Lisa Simpson become the new President, and during her first meeting with her advisers, reference was made to a ‘Budget Crunch’ inherited from the outgoing President Trump.
It’s very clear from this message that The Simpsons team clearly aren’t to impressed with Trumps appointment. Let’s just hope that he is more successful than the fictional version they used.
