More DC rumors are coming out – this time about Aquaman’s involvement in Suicide Squad. Credit goes to ComicBook.com for putting this all together (don’t read unless you want potential SPOILERS):

According to Heroic Hollywood, who also reported yesterday’s Aquaman rumors, Aquaman was captured and detained after fighting a mutated shark, who is also being held in the prison. The mutated shark, reportedly referred to in the film as “the King of Sharks” is—you guessed it—DC Comics villain King Shark. This rumor would certainly support the claims that actor Raymond Olubowale might play King Shark in Suicide Squad, providing another small connection between DC Comics’ upcoming films.

According to report, Waller is holding Aquaman and King Shark for testing. Now, all we need to know now is how Aquaman will bust out of the prison and join The Justice League.

It’s an interesting report for sure.

    According to DC Comics Wiki:

Aquaman is the telepathic ruler of Atlantis and the Earth’s oceans, an Atlantean with incredible strength and speed as well as the ability to command all sea-life. His unique physiology allows him to survive on land and at the ocean’s greatest depths of pressure and temperature. Given the names Orin through his royal heritage and Arthur Curry by his human upbringing, he fights to protect both worlds using his mighty abilities and political influence. He is a founding member of the Justice League of America.

Suicide Squad synopsis: Figuring they’re all expendable, a U.S. intelligence officer decides to assemble a team of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains for a top-secret mission. Now armed with government weapons, Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc and other despicable inmates must learn to work together. Dubbed Task Force X, the criminals unite to battle a mysterious and powerful entity, while the diabolical Joker (Jared Leto) launches an evil agenda of his own.
