Remember those nice friendly Marvel movies, and the especially family-friendly Guardians of the Galaxy? Yeah, well, not anymore.
According to this list, Guardians of the Galaxy is the number one movie featuring the most on-screen deaths. How many people died, you ask? An astounding number of 83,871 people! And that’s not all, as Marvel’s The Avengers also takes the number ten spot with 1,019 on-screen deaths.
What does James Gunn, writer and director of Guardians of the Galaxy think of all this? Well, it seems he’s a little unsure.

Can’t say I blame the guy, as I’m sure his goal was to make a more lighthearted Marvel movie than the rest.
