Jon Bernthal has been a very busy man, especially with his comic convention times having to be left cancelled to the dismay of fans. Fortunately, the time away was for a good cause, as we’ve finally found out that production for the Netflix Punisher series has started.
Bernthal played Frank Castle, AKA The Punisher, in the second season of Daredevil. Fans and critics alike praised his performance to a great degree that a spin-off series based on the character was announced shortly after, becoming the sixth Marvel Netflix joint program on the block.
The first set photos have been unveiled Monday afternoon, depicting Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, now sporting a full grown beard and hoodie.
