Well, it looks like we very nearly had ANOTHER game to add to the mix.
We almost had a great Ghost Rider game.
Back in ’96, Crystal Dynamics and Marvel made a publishing agreement for games. They were going to use some of the darker Marvel characters and the game was going to be done by Neversoft as a Playstation exclusive.
The game would have been based on the engine from Skeleton Warriors.
Ultimately, the game never happened because Crystal Dynamics decided to focus on game development rather than publishing titles and cancelled the agreements they had made at the time. This meant that the Ghost Rider game didn’t have the funding it needed to be finished.

It’s a shame because from the sound of it, it would have been a pretty cool game.
