Earlier this week, a teaser trailer for a trailer (yeah, it’s reached that point) was released for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. There weren’t many details given other than when to expect it.
Earlier in the year, there was some footage leaked but quickly taken down that featured Darth Vader but didn’t actually show him. You could just hear the breathing over the very blurry footage.
But now, the trailer has been released – and you definitely see him this time!

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.
