At this point, it sounds like it will be easier to list the characters who aren’t due to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War but now we can add an important character into the ‘Going to appear’ column if a recent report is anything to go by.
Last time we saw him, Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier was being put on ice in Wakanda until they could remove the programming from his mind. Many fans assume that he will be showing up in 2018’s Black Panther but it sounds like we’ll definitely besting the brainwashed assassin in Avengers: Infinity War.
This revelation comes courtesy of The Hollywood Reporter, who in a recent article about Stan’s addition to Stacie Passon’s We Have Always Lived in a Castle also revealed that the actor is set to start shooting the Avenger three-quel early next year.
What his role is in the film remains a mystery but with a villain like Thanos in the mix, the heroes are going to need every soldier they can muster. I’d say the good money is on him joining his old partner Cap in the fight.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to hit theaters April 25th, 2018
