Jonathan Majors had his fair share of legal troubles after being accused of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The Marvel star even lost his part as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While his legal issues seemed to be settling down, a new audio leak reveals Jonathan Majors admitting to strangling his ex-girlfriend.
As shared below, the 30-second clip was first recorded in September 2022. The outlet summarizes the audio as having captured “Jabbari confronting Majors about the alleged attack in the following days” regarding a fight they had in London. This is separate from the actual 2023 New York incident that instigated their legal troubles.
“I’m ashamed I’ve ever –” Majors begins. “I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.”
Jabbari responds:
“You strangled me and pushed me against the car.”
Majors continues:
“Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah,” he adds. “That’s never happened to me.”
She asks if it had something to do with her decision to have “said something sarcastically.” Majors considers there was “clearly” more to his reaction towards her. Here’s the audio via Rolling Stone:
While their fight in London was separate from the 2023 incident in New York, it was part of a separate civil lawsuit filed by Jabbari in March 2024. The alleged London fight was retold in detail by Jabbari and both Jabbari and Majors settled the case in November of that year.
Now that this audio leak has surfaced online, however, it certainly adds another dimension to the legal troubles of Jonathan Majors and Grace Jabbari. Especially at a time when Jonathan Majors is attempting to get his career back in order.
