It sounds as though, Jason Momoa isn’t going to be the only Game of Thrones Alum in next years Justice League, as a recent rumor has pointed to a certain Lannister joining the cast. Read on to find out who it is.
The aforementioned actor is none other than Charles Dance, best known as Tywin Lannister in HBO’s Game of Thrones with the rumored role that of Darkseids General, Steppenwolf. The character was recently confirmed to be the main antagonist of the film, but this is the first we have heard about who will be taking on the role. It should be noted that this information was supplied from an unverified Twitter account, so it’s hard to say just how accurate it is.

The character was recently seen conversing with Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in the ‘Communion’ scene which is part of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Cut. In the comics, Steppenwolf is the uncle of Darkseid and leader of the army of Parademons from Apokolips.
Dance does have a good track record of portraying very commanding characters, often being able to come across imposing based on on his voice alone. Whether he will be providing Mo-Cap for the character or merely providing the voice wasn’t revealed.
Hopefully we’ll be given some details on the currently shooting film at this months San Diego Comic Con. We’ll see the heroes assemble to battle Steppenwolf and his forces, when Justice League hits theaters November 17th, 2017.
