Celebrity Brie Larson is largely associated with her character Captain Marvel from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, she recently changed things up with her latest look. In fact, Brie Larson is quite unrecognizable as fans can see below.
Larson, who is set to portray the titular character in the upcoming West End stage adaptation of Elektra, underwent quite a transformation for the part. As such, Brie Larson has become unrecognizable as a result, with the new photos she shared providing a good look at her new style.
“Elektra is here,” Larson writes in the caption for the photos, confirming that she has indeed made the changes to better portray the character:

The photos reveal that Brie Larson is now sporting a brunette pixie cut to rock the new look, quite a change from the long blonde hair that fans are used to seeing in the likes of Captain Marvel and its follow-up The Marvels. Of course, Elektra will no doubt be a much different experience – especially as a stage play – than these other projects that Larson has been involved with.
Elektra is based on the Greek tragedy written by Sophocles. It has been translated by poet Anne Carson, and with Larson giving her own spin on the role, it should be quite an interesting adaptation. Especially considering how different it will be from the usual types of MCU projects that Larson is often associated with.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Brie Larson and her upcoming projects as we have them. It’s currently unknown when she’s set to portray the part of Captain Marvel again, though she has indicated we have not yet seen the last of her in the MCU. Otherwise, it looks like fans will be able to look forward to Larson’s upcoming role in the Elektra stage adaptation.
