Scarlet Witch Almost Had A Much Different Look For CIVIL WAR

    By Jacob DresslerJune 27, 2016
Scarlet Witch Captain America: Civil War

Andy Park, a conceptual artist for Captain America: Civil War, released a previously unseen piece of art for Wanda Maximoff, also known as ‘The Scarlet Witch’. The costume looked mostly the same, except for one difference taken from the comics: she’s wearing a headband.

This was let out of the finished film, but that doesn’t mean we can’t expect to see it for future experiences. Of course, maybe things were for the better. What do you think? Did they make the right decision by leaving it out or should they have respected the comic appearance? Check out the art below, and you can form your own opinion on it, as I’m sure most will do anyway:

    Here’s a better look:

    Scarlet Witch Civil War Concept

Captain America: Civil War synopsis: Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.

What do you think of the alternate look for Scarlet Witch? Do you think they should have used it in Captain America: Civil War? Be sure to tell us your thoughts in the comment section below!
