The debut of the new Superman suit is now official. As James Gunn’s Superman (previously titled Superman: Legacy) filming progresses, the writer-director unveiled a sneak peek on his Threads account, revealing star David Corenswet donning the iconic Man of Steel attire. Notably, the suit appears weathered and worn, hinting at intense and gritty battles in store for Superman in the film.
Gunn said that the photo was taken on set by Jess Miglio and was entirely in-camera.
The filmmaker has been diligently dispelling rumors about the film, frequently addressing them on the social media platform Threads. Shortly after production commenced, leaked photos purportedly showing David Corenswet in his complete costume began circulating online. However, Gunn promptly clarified that they were not real.
