The fourth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things concluded on July 1, 2022. Now, close to two years later, fans are ecstatic to know that Stranger Things Season 5 is finally entering production.
The new season is intended to be the final outing for the flagship series. Of course, Netflix has several spin-off projects in the works, but fans are eager to see how the story concludes for the main story at hand.
Now, after waiting so long for production to begin, the show’s official X account has released a striking photo from the set of Stranger Things Season 5 to celebrate. Furthermore, they chose the perfect caption to grab everyone’s attention.
“THIS IS A CODE RED,” they wrote. “Stranger Things 5 production has officially begun!”
Here’s the image that they shared:

As those who’ve looked at the image can tell, much of the show’s main cast is visible in the photo. This includes Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour.
Hopefully there will be more glimpses released as the new season once again from the Duffer Brothers continues production. It may still mean there will be quite some time before the fifth season is completed, but at least we’re now headed on the right track. And for now, it’s great seeing the main cast of the show together again.
The plot for the new season is currently being kept under wraps. But if the conclusion of the fourth season is any indication, then the Hawkins gang will be making one last stand against Vecna.
A release date for the fifth season has yet to be released. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding Stranger Things Season 5 as we have them. Additionally, while this is the last season of the series, there are several spin-offs in the works as noted above. We’ll have updates on those shows too as details come to light.
