A new Hulu movie has everyone talking. The new sci-fi horror film, titled No One Will Save You, features a new unique take on the classic “gray alien” story with a number of thrilling twists and turns. Now the bizarre ending for the surprising horror film has been explained.
As those who’ve seen the film know, it revolves around a woman named Brynn (Kaitlyn Dever) who must battle an alien that’s invaded her home. The popular premise has been made unique, however, with the unusual addition of only one line of dialogue. There is no other dialogue in the film which is considered a rarity in movies made since the invention of sound in motion pictures.
Of course, the film’s ending also has some unique touches, with some viewers potentially confused by the surprising revelations. The narrative reveals that in addition to Brynn’s house being invaded, most of her town has as well, with aliens controlling most of the populace with telekinesis. Eventually the aliens do successfully capture Brynn and they have the opportunity to view her memories.
The aliens apparently discover that her character is something of an outsider in the town. As such, the aliens seem to be perplexed by the situation, and they take a moment to decide what to do. They ultimately let Brynn back down to Earth. As for the other townspeople, however, they remain under the aliens’ control. But this allows Brynn the opportunity to finally connect with other people through the aliens.
It’s unknown how far their invasion reaches, and whether or not Brynn is the only human survivor. But it’s clear there was something about her that the aliens found unique enough to let her go while they kept control of everyone else. Though it’s unannounced at this time, there’s still the possibility that a sequel could be greenlit to further tell the story.
Brian Duffield both wrote and directed No One Will Save You.
The cast of the film includes Kaitlyn Dever, Ginger Cressman, Zack Duhame, Geraldine Singer, and Dari Lynn Griffin.
