Joe Rogan has become a major internet personality with his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. Interestingly, however, a study finds that women are significantly turned off by men that listen to the aforementioned Joe Rogan podcast.
The study, which was performed by Change Research, took the time to determine “Red Flags in a Partner.” The study took the time to see what red flags men or women are more worried about than the other. As for Joe Rogan’s podcast, it seems a particularly large amount of women are turned off by those who listen in.
Of course, Rogan’s podcast has faced some backlash and controversy in recent years, including accusations of spreading misinformation during the pandemic. But it seems that while the study claims 55% of women consider the podcast a red flag, only 35% of men consider it a red flag if women were to listen to the podcast.
It’s worth noting, however, that listening to The Joe Rogan Experience isn’t the only major red flag for women. In fact, the study notes that other “top red flags include identifying as a MAGA Republican, having no hobbies, saying ‘All Lives Matter’ and that there are only two genders, being so unbothered they never ask for details, identifying as a communist,” in addition to “identifying as a conservative, refusing to see the Barbie movie, and not caring about politics.”
If it isn’t obvious, men had different numbers regarding the red flags, with the study noting that “for men, top red flags are identifying as a communist, having no hobbies, identifying as a MAGA Republican, being so unbothered they never ask for details, saying ‘All Lives Matter’, and being into astrology.”
It’s definitely an interesting take on Joe Rogan’s podcast and how the content we consume can change the ways people view us. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any similar studies and news as we have it.
