Fans have been waiting quite some time for the next season of Creepshow. Now Shudder has excitingly dropped the Creepshow Season 4 trailer and a release date. Fortunately, the new season is dropping sooner rather than later.
As revealed in the trailer below, the new season has an October release date. Specifically, there will be a six-episode binge premiere on Shudder and AMC Plus, with new episodes airing weekly at 10:00 PM ET/9c on AMC.
And, in true Creepshow fashion, there’s plenty of exciting monster action, horror, and humor in the newly-shared footage. In fact, fans will spot fan-favorite actor Tom Atkins in a new role. He originally starred in the wrap-around segments of the original 1982 Creepshow film.
Here’s the Creepshow Season 4 trailer:
The most recent season of the series debuted on September 23, 2021. As such, it’s been a few years since we’ve had a new season of the series, and fans are eager for more. It’s been a fantastic show to have in a time when horror anthologies aren’t quite as popular as they were in the 1980s and 1990s. In the vein of its spiritual predecessors Tales from the Darkside and Monsters, however, it looks like this new season is set to deliver.
George A. Romero and Stephen King collaborated to create the original Creepshow. King wrote the film’s screenplay while Romero directed. It was a monumental success and received a sequel in 1987. The franchise struggled to find its legs afterward, with a name-only continuation released in 2007. The Shudder series has been received positively by fans for once again incorporating the comic book influences of the original two films. And, if the new trailer is any indication, the fourth season aims to do the same.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Creepshow updates as we have them. For now, fans can look forward to Creepshow Season 4 which premieres this October.
