A brand-new set photo from the production of Daredevil: Born Again has surfaced online. The highly-anticipated Disney Plus series is currently shooting in New York. Now, as you can see below, the latest photo reveals a brand-new character.
We’ve already had several exciting cast announcements for the upcoming show. Now, as revealed in the below photo via People, it looks like Nikki M. James has joined the fray. She can be pictured alongside actor Charlie Cox.
It looks like the two are currently shooting scenes for some of the show’s daytime lawyer scenes. Interestingly, this lines up with a rumor from GreatPhase, where they believe to know who Nikki M. James will be playing. Although Marvel has yet to confirm her character – the rumor suggests that it’s Kirsten McDuffie.

Fans of the comics will recognize McDuffie as an assistant district attorney who always believed that Matt Murdock was Daredevil. The two were friends who later built a romantic relationship and even law firm together. As such, some fans suspect that she could be replacing both Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page and Elden Henson’s Foggy Nelson as a result. Though it seems a little too early in the show’s production to know for certain what Marvel has planned.
Hopefully we’ll have more details soon. For now, however, it’s exciting to see that production is moving ahead smoothly in New York. Nikki M. James certainly looks like a great addition to the cast and we’ll hopefully have more images soon.
In addition to Charlie Cox and Nikki M. James, the series will also feature returning stars Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. Sandrine Holt will appear as Vanessa Fisk.
