The Children of the Corn film franchise has returned for a new adaptation of the classic story. Fans can get a glimpse at this new iteration with the brand-new Children of the Corn trailer released down below.
The franchise is well-known for having spawned numerous iterations and sequels over the years. This time, however, it looks like the series is going back to its roots for an all-new take on Stephen King’s classic story. As such, fans are no doubt eager to see where this version of the story leads, and now the official trailer reveals some of the exciting details.
Additionally, fans won’t have long to wait to see this new film. Surprisingly enough, this Children of the Corn adaptation will already be hitting theaters in early March. So, despite the long wait for the film, it’s finally going to be released for all horror fans to see. Let’s hope it does justice to the original tale as penned by classic horror author Stephen King. Especially after so many years’ worth of other iterations.

The original film series included a 1984 adaptation which was followed by eight sequels. In addition to this newest remake, there was a 2009 adaptation released on the Syfy network via Fox 21 Television. It’s certainly one of the most successful properties to be based on a Stephen King story – so we’ll have to see how this new film turns out.
The new Children of the Corn remake was written and directed by Kurt Wimmer based on the original short story by Stephen King. The cast includes Elena Kampouris, Kate Moyer, Callan Mulvey, and Bruce Spence.
